Easter dress / Osterkleid

Just a short blog post: R's easter dress that I sewed already during kids clothes week but didn't manage to post earlier. I made a Louisa dress following the pattern and instructions by Compagnie M. I won the pattern some months ago when Marte did a Blog Pattenr Tour. Finally I managed to sit down and sew it. I liked the look of the dress from the beginning. The big font pocket is super cool. This won't be the last Louisa dress, though for the next one I might do a triangle front pocket as Meg did here. Btw. the sleeves are exchangeable with those from Marte's Mara blouse (5 variations! find here my Mara blouse variation).

Like when I sewed the Mara blouse, I'm really impressed by Marte's pattern and detailed step by step instructions. You just can't do anything wrong. I finally bougth a invisible zipper foot which I used here for the first time. It's still not perfect, but a lot better than any that I've inserted so far. I guess with some training it'll get really nice. I definitely recommend the pattern.

Alles Liebe, Annika

I bought the fabric at the modes4u online store and the buttons and ric rac are from Alles für Selbermacher.

Well enough blogging for this easter weekend.. I hope you'll have a wonderful easter tomorrow.
All the best, Annika
